If you’ve got it, flaunt it. Time to show off your savvy style in this innovative slip on with a responsible soul. The new take on the Viva ballerina combines a sophisticated design with attention to the environment in the choice of materials. The mesh upper with a perforated effect, realized in 100% certified recycled post-consumer polyester, is decorated with a grosgrain bow containing viscose made from certified responsibly managed wood sources, which also covers the metal plate. The internal reinforcements in certified recycled synthetic materials, the toe puff in certified recycled pre-consumer cotton, the sole in bio-based plastic, the insole in natural rubber foam and the assembly insoles in fibres made from certified responsibly managed wood sources ensure absolute comfort. Moreover, the upper lining and suede tongue are realized in chrome-free leather and sewing threads are in recycled nylon and polyester. Richard Serra’s sculptures inspired the teardrop silhouette of the heel, infusing design with contemporary allure.

Salvatore Ferragamo's understated, refined sense of style has become the definition of classic Italian luxury. Established in 1927, the company has grown from a small, made-to-measure workshop on Via Mannelli to a tremendous fashion house. 💡 FUN FACT: The house’s illustrious history and the life of its founder has been immortalized in a public museum at Palazzo Spini Feroni, a Medieval palace originally built in 1289.
